Travel and other Visitor Information
University Visitor Information Page for maps, directions, parking
information, and campus information. Most local hotels offer courtesy
transportation to and from the Champaign airport. In addition, LEX
Express (217-352-6682) provides door-to-door shuttle service from the
airport to town; they usually have a representative at the airport
meeting incoming flights.
The Lincolnland Express
can be used for transportation from the Chicago or Indianapolis airports.
It takes about three hours (one way) and costs approximately $50. Upon
arrival in Champaign-Urbana, the shuttle stops at the Illinois
Bus/Train Terminal and at the Illini Union. (Warning! The LEX shuttle
can be extremely unreliable.)
