Limits of residually irreducible p-adic Galois representations, by Chandrashekhar Khare

Abstract: This is a corrected version of preprint 0271. We construct converging sequences of residually irreducible and non-dihedral 2-dimensional p-adic Galois representations with fixed determinant and prove properties of ramification of such sequences and raise questions regarding their rationality.
