- effective mechanisms for designing tests and exams
- best practices in grading and assessing student performance
- reverse engineering of student errors
We treat topics of this type during Orientation and the TA Mentoring Program.
Training in Teaching Ethics
This category relates to professionalism and teacher-student interactions
- conducting yourself as a professional (preparation, dress, interactions)
- ethical treatment of students (respect breeds respect)
- specifying goals and expectations
- handling cheating cases and student complaints
