- Groups in which Commutativity is a Transitive Relation.
The study of CT-groups, i.e. groups in which commutativity is a transitive relation, dates back to L. Weisner (1925) and M. Suzuki (1957). Complete classification has been attained for finite CT-groups. This talk will describe infinite CT-groups which are locally finite, polycyclic, or torsion-free solvable. Fixed-point-free automorphisms play an essential role in our study, especially solvable CT-groups. Another main topic is fixed-point-free groups of automorphisms and their cohomology, I.
