- How many triangles? How many Tetrahedra? (II).
This will be the conclusion of the talk started last week, showing
that the number T(n) of triangles formed by a generic arrangement of
n lines in the Euclidean plane is at least n-2; and, more
generally, that the number Td(n) of simplices formed by a generic
arrangement of n hyperplanes in Euclidean d-space is at least
n-d.
