- Copies of guidelines for individual programs are available upon request from the Center for Advanced Study, 333-6729 or through the web site. In addition to these five programs, the Center also initiates and co-sponsors a variety of interdisciplinary activities, discussion groups, and workshops during the academic year. Center for Advanced Study professors are permanent members of the Center for Advanced Study community, chosen for their outstanding scholarship. Apppointment to a professorship in the Center for Advanced Study is the highest recognition that the campus can bestow upon a member of the faculty. There are currently seventeen Center for Advanced Study professors.
