- Wolfram Research, creator of Mathematica, is adding people to its geometry and visualization team.
You will work with a team on geometric data structures and
Algorithms that are at the very heart of Mathematica. We are expanding the use of
geometric algorithms into new areas, including acquisition, processing,
and visualizing complex geometric datasets. This draws on many
disciplines, such as mathematics, computer science, and engineering.
Wolfram Research, with several teams working on numeric, symbolic,
discrete, statistics, and other algorithms, is a unique place to design a
new generation of geometric algorithms and applications.
Project experience with geometric data structures, such as half-edge,
quad-edge, octrees, and bsp-trees is required. Programming languages, including C/C++ and Mathematica, are desired.
