In this paper we first show that K-groups with coefficients factor over
the category of Chow motives.
Following ideas of Deninger and Soule we then construct special elements
in K-groups with coefficients of Chow motives associated to Hecke characters
of imaginary quadratic fields. Finally we define a regulator map and
prove that the cokernel of this regulator map is related to special values
of p-adic L-functions.
