Polylogarithmic Extensions on Mixed Shimura varieties. Part II The classical polylogarithm, by Joerg Wildeshaus

This paper is the slightly extended version of paragraph 8 of Polylogarithmic Extensions on Mixed Shimura varieties. We carry out explicitly the program developed in Part I for the most elementary example, i.e., the classical polylogarithm. None of the main results is new, although some are still unpublished: for example, the description of the l-adic version of the classical polylogarithm was performed, at least stalkwise, in Beilinson's 1989 or 1990 preprint "Polylogarithm and Cyclotomic Elements".

This paper is now available in Springer Lecture Notes in Mathematics, number 1650.
