This paper is the slightly extended version of paragraph 8 of Polylogarithmic Extensions on Mixed Shimura varieties. We carry out explicitly the program developed in Part I for the most elementary example, i.e., the classical polylogarithm. None of the main results is new, although some are still unpublished: for example, the description of the l-adic version of the classical polylogarithm was performed, at least stalkwise, in Beilinson's 1989 or 1990 preprint "Polylogarithm and Cyclotomic Elements".
