On the Grayson Spectral Sequence, by Andrei Suslin

In this paper we show that the version of motivic cohomology introduced by Dan Grayson in his paper "Weight Filtrations via Commuting Automorphisms" coincides with the usual definition of motivic cohomology and hence the paper of Grayson may be used to give a new (independent of the preprint of Bloch and Lichtenbaum) and much more understandable approach to the construction of the motivic spectral sequence.
