The eighth annual Great Lakes K-theory Conference will be held April 27, 2002, at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The conference is being organized by Dan Grayson and Randy McCarthy with the help of Eric Friedlander and Rick Jardine.

If you might come, please let Dan Grayson know.

Speakers and schedule:

The talks will take place in room 165 Everitt Hall, which is just north of Altgeld Hall, across Green Street. The refreshments will be served in a classroom across the hall.

Getting there:

See http://www.math.uiuc.edu/~dan/travel.html for instructions on traveling to the University of Illinois. We have reserved (until March 26!) a block of 30 rooms at the Hampton Inn, listed there, for the night before and the night after. (The unblocked rooms are all reserved, so if the block is exhausted, you might have to stay in another hotel, of which there are many.) Hampton Inn offers shuttle service to the University and to the airport.
