For over 40 years, the Number Theory group has held seminars at 1 pm on Tuesday and Thursday. Various seminars cover topics in a wide range of areas of Number Theory. In addition, a seminar specializing in Algebraic Number Theory is typically held at 2 pm on Thursday.

Talks in these seminars are given by faculty, students, and visitors. Talks are typically accessible to graduate students, and the atmosphere is informal and supportive with questions and discussion encouraged. Attendance ranges from around 20 to over 30.

Information about this semester's seminars can be found here.

Frequently, there are working seminars on special topics in Number Theory. In recent years several RAP (Research Among Peers) seminars in Number Theory have been organized as part of the VIGRE program.

In addtion, there have been several other working seminars during this time.
