We are distributing Iode under the GNU General Public License in the hope that we will find like-minded people who are willing to add to Iode. We will be happy to consider your contributions (anything, really, such as feature requests, bug reports, bug fixes, new modules, and course materials), and we will be sure to give you the credit you deserve if your work makes it into the official distribution of Iode.

• Iode Manual --- graphical user interface (HTML, PostScript (266 k), pdf (158 k)).
• Iode Manual --- text-based user interface (HTML, PostScript (265 k), pdf (153 k)).
• Partial dependency diagrams (GUI version (9 k), text version (9 k)). These diagrams indicates how the modules of Iode fit together.
• If you type doctool('guidoc') or doctool('txtdoc') at the Matlab prompt, you'll see a dependency diagram, and if you click on any of the module names, you'll see the correponding help text in the help window.
• A documented list of the modules of Iode that are shared by Octave and Matlab.
• Please drop us a line at iode@math.uiuc.edu if you would like to learn more about the techniques and tools (such as GNU Make and Genpage - Version: 1.0.7) that we use to maintain and develop Iode and its supporting materials.
• We are maintaining a list of frequently asked questions.

If you would like to contribute to Iode, you may want to take a look at some of our basic policies and conventions. We are also maintaining a tentative list of future development tasks. Also, if you choose to use Iode for educational or other purposes, please let us know!
