Welcome to IPROM!

IPROM (for "Illinois Probability Modules") is an attempt to create a tool that allows students in introductory probability courses to create and run complex simulations without having to learn a lot about programming. At the heart of IPROM is a library of Simulink blocks that can be combined to create simulations of random processes. These blocks include simulations of the most important random variables, various processing devices for computing averages, standard deviations and such, and output devices such as bar graphs and histograms.

In order to get started, simply install IPROM and work through the first labs in order to get acquainted with the capabilities of the software.

IPROM is free software, available under the GNU General Public License. All supporting materials are available under the GNU Free Documentation License.
