1999 Illinois Number Theory Conference:
The Illinois Number Theory Conference is an annual conference
series, usually held in the Spring at UIUC or
at another Illinois university. Because of the
AMS meeting, the 1999 edition of this conference will be
held in the Fall, on September 17-18, 1999,
on the UIUC campus.
The conference will feature one hour
talks by K. Alladi, P. Borwein, A. Pollington, and K.S. Williams,
and there will be opportunity for about 20 contributed talks.
Special Year in Number Theory: Plans are underway for a Special
Year in Number Theory
at the University of Illinois during the
Academic Year 1999/2000. The culimination of the Special
Year will be a
Millennial Conference on Number Theory, to be held in May 2000 on
the UIUC campus. Several smaller conferences are also planned.
