Music is my passion and I like listening to any song or a musical piece which sounds good to ears. I sing and play Tabla. I am currently learning Indian classical music under the tutelage of my mother Smt. Madhuvanti Dixit. I also consider Suresh Wadkar and Hariharan as my Gurus though I have not received any formal training from them. I belong to the band Anubhooti, a Registered Students Organization at the University of Illinois. I won the first prize in a singing competition 'Saptasur Ek Sargam' on the Indian television channel 'ETV Marathi' in the year 2003.
