Monday in 222A Illini, 2:00pm to 2:50pm for administrative and grade concerns. Friday in 123 Altgeld, 2:00pm to 4:00pm for questions about material. I am also available by appointment during the week. Appointments are not made more than a week in advance.
My research is in ergodic theory. I am interested in problems involving convergence or divergence of ergodic averages along subsequences, convergence of multiparameter averages, recurrence, and the interplay between ergodic theory and other branches of mathematics.
