Some new methods in the theory of quasi-invariants

We give a new approach to the study of quasi-invariants which
involves representing a quasi-invariant as an $n$-tuple of invariants. We
then find conditions which characterize such tuples. We look at the case
of the dihedral group and use this to give insight into formulae of Felder
and Veselov in certain cases. This is joint work with Adriano Garsia and
Nolan Wallach.
