Quizzes and exams will be returned in class. Any uncollected quizzes or exams will be disposed of exactly one week after the day they are passed back. If you are unable to pick up your work in class, you need to make arrangements to collect it from me in office hours.
Solutions to every quiz and exam will be posted before they are returned to you. Again, you have exactly one week after the day they are passed back in class to discuss any grading issues. After this time, no changes will be made to your score.

This example shows that Mr. Buckley, who's Net-ID is JBUCK2, was enrolled in Section F1 of this course. Each homework is out of 20
points and you can clearly see what he earned. The ** applied to homework 7 is something that will not show up until the very end of the
semester when final grades are computed. However, the ** implies that this was his lowest score and dropped from the calculation of the
semester grade.
For the exams, there are multiple versions offered. For example, exam23 is read as midterm exam 2, version 3. Above you will see that Mr. Buckley took exam 1, version 1. His raw score was 55.5 out of 60. Since this exam was not curved, that was his final Exam 1 score. Compare this to his second midterm exam. Mr. Buckley has recorded the score exam22:46<49/60. He took exam 2, version 2 and received a raw score of 46 out of 60 possible points. The less than sign indicates that exam 2, version 2 was curved. Mr. Buckley's curve exam score is a 49 out of 60 -- this is the percentage used in calculating his final grade at the end of the semester.
The proj#'s at the end of the gradebook are actually the final exams. There were four different finals given in the F1 section and he took the third version.
The "average" is unlikely to appear until the very end of the semester when your semester grade is calculated.
During the semester, if you have further questions about your posted grades, either come to my office hours or bring me a printed copy of your grade report before or after a class. I will not respond to email queries about grades.
