Exam Room Assignments for the 9AM class:
Exam Room Assignments for the 2PM class:
9/18: I have decided to post all of my old Calc III exams. Understand that this course is different in style and substance from the past Calc III courses I have taught. The point of posting these exams is to allow you to see "how" I write exams. (What style of question, what level of rigor is expected in the topics that overlap, etc.) Again, these are NOT practice exams. These are exams from past semesters where the course outline (i.e. topics in the class) do not match up with this semester's course. If a question is not on a topic that is in your notes, discussion sheets or homework, it should go without saying that you are not to do that problem! Please do not deluge the TAs or myself with emails about how to do the old exam problems. Focus on this semester's notes, discussion sheets and homework when studying for this exam.
9/15: Exam 1 will be an in-class exam on Friday, September 25th. It will cover all course materials through the topics of limits and continuity. Examination room assignments will be posted next week.
9/11: We will use the following webpage to demonstrate topics in graphing (Section 14.1) and quadric surfaces (Section 12.6). This webpage is fully interactive. Feel free to explore on your own. Additionally, a homework will be posted over the weekend that will require you to interact with this website. Be aware that some versions of Firefox don't render the javascripts properly. You may need to work within a different browser to fully interact with the website. (For example, Internet Explorer or Safari.)
9/10: Change in location occured for Tuesday afternoon office hours. See link above.
9/10: The discussion section AD8 (with Sun Kim at 12PM) has been permanently moved from the Armory to 260 Mechanical Engineering Building (MEB).
8/25: Homework 1 is posted and due in discussion on Thursday.
8/24: Homework 0 is an in-discussion quiz over the syllabus to be given at the start of Tuesday's discussion session.
