About me

Hello! I am a fifth year PhD student in mathematics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign working with Prof. Alexandru Zaharescu. I expect to graduate in May 2017. Before joining UIUC, I was at National Institute of Science, Education and Research (NISER) in Bhubaneswar, India where I completed my BS and MS in mathematics with a minor in physics in 2012. My MS dissertation advisor was Prof. Brundaban Sahu.

Research Interests

My research interests lie in analytic and combinatorial number theory and their interactions with geometry and dynamics. I especially focus on distribution of sequences and their spacing statistics using level spacing and correlation measures, zeros of Riemann zeta function and L-functions, Farey fractions and Ford circles, and Apollonian Packings.
