Poems I Like

As a general rule, I don't like poetry. It's too direct. It is frequently dull. It tends to talk about issues that don't concern me, or address them in a way that I don't find as thought provoking as, say, a good novel. Occasionally, however, a poem seems to hit it right. I don't know what it is, or how it does it, but sometimes I just run across the right poem. Chances are that, when it hits me right, it's particularly unrefined, simple, and not worth analysis, yet to me it is worth reading every-so-often to remind myself of the basic truths of life. As such, I present here those that I've run across (or run across again) of late.
