Calculator:You may use a calculator to do homework. However, calculator will Not be allowed during quizzes and exams.
Homework: Homework will be collected on Wednesday and will be returned following Wednesday. The lowest score will be dropped.
No late homework will be accepted unless you can provide a written document to support your excuse.
If you miss a homework, that is the one you drop.
Quizzes: Quiz will be given every Friday, except during the weeks of the exams. It will be returned the following Friday.
The lowest score will be dropped.
No make-up quiz will be given unless you provide a written document such as a letter from an emergency dean.
If you miss a quiz, that is the one you drop.
Exams: There will be 3 hour exams (50 minite long).
No make-up will be given unless you present an official document excusing your absence.
Final exam: The final exam is cumulative and is scheduled for Monday, May 9, 8 AM--11 AM.
Grading: Your course grade will be computed as follows.
- 3 hour exams(15,15,15%)-45%
- Final-30%
- Quiz-15%(The lowest score will be dropped)
- H.W-10%(The lowest score will be dropped)
- 90-100% A
- 80-89% B
- 79-70% C
- 60-69% D
- 59 and below F
Claim on exam/quiz/homework scores must be done within 2 days after it is returned.
