Analytic Computation of the Prime-Counting Function

This page contains a few slightly different formattings of my PhD thesis.

Please note: At least some versions of the gv postscript previewer may think that the postscript version is meant for A4 paper, but it is wrong. The files are formatted for American standard 8.5"x11" paper.

• Formatted for two-sided printing, with running headers at the top of each page:
  • thesis-twoside.pdf As a PDF file Roughly 2.8 Mbytes.
  • thesis-twoside.ps.gz As a gzipped postscript file. Roughly 1.1 Mbytes.
• Formatted exactly as deposited to the University of Illinois. Formatted for one-sided printing, with no running headers:
  • thesis.ps.gz As a gzipped postscript file. Roughly 1.1 Mbytes.
