Text
Linear Algebra and its Applications (3rd Edition) by David
C. Lay (Addison-Wesley, 2002)
Grading:
There will be three midterm exams, and one final exam. In addition to
those, there will be weekly homeworks which will be assigned in the the
class on Tuesdays and will be due at the class on the next Tuesday. The
final grade for the course will be based on the total points from the
best two tests (the maximum score will be 100 in each test), the final
exam (maximum score 200), and on points from homework(normalized to a
maximum score of 50). Hence the maximum total score will be 450.
