Class Announcements
- Wednesday, 8/29: there will be no
office hours on Monday 9/3 and Tuesday
9/4. Instead, I will be available on Wednesday 9/5 between 11am and
1:30pm.
- Friday, 8/31: there is no class this Monday, 9/3 (LABOR DAY).
- Monday, 9/3: HW#2 consists of
problems #4, #18, #26, #34, #42 in Section 7.2. A bonus problem is
#20. Practice problems are #1-#45 (odd) in Section 7.2 and #1-#29 (odd)
in Section 7.3.
- Tuesday, 9/4: Quiz #2 is tomorrow. It
covers Section 7.2 and there will be a problem or two from 7.3.
- Wednesday, 9/5: HW#3 consists of
problems #6, #10, #28 in Section 7.3 and problems #32, #50 in Section 7.4.
A bonus problem is #57 and #60 (together). Practice problems are #1-#29
(odd) in Section 7.3 and #1-#51 (odd) in Section 7.4.
- Monday, 9/10: Quiz #3 is on
Wednesday. It covers Sections 7.3 and 7.4.
- Tuesday, 9/11: There is no quiz tomorrow. Instead, Quiz #3 will be this
Friday (9/14). Moreover, HW#3 is due also this Friday (9/14).
- Wednesday, 9/12: There will be no
quiz on Wednesday, 9/19. Test #1 will be on Friday, 9/21.
- Wednesday, 9/12: HW#4 consists of
problems #16, #30, #50, #60, #62 in Section 7.5. No bonus problem this
