    Announcements

  • 1/26 - I have setup a link to score reports so that you can check your grades. It may take two days to start working properly.
  • 1/27 - If you log into compass, this class should now show up there. The idea is for you to use compass to contact other students or to have class forum discussions.
  • 1/30 - The Grades link should now display your current scores.
  • 2/10 - HW8 solutions have a mistake on problem 30. There should be a 2 in the denominator, but since it diverges, it does not affect the method. Just multiply everything through by 2. Also, Mock Exam 1 solutions are up.
  • 2/24 - I added a new section called Notes. Please read them.
  • 3/9 - It was pointed out to me that the homework over the weekend was redundant. I will give credit to everyone for this homework on account of my mistake.
  • 3/10 - I reposted the Mock Exam 2 solutions (all 8 pages this time).
  • 3/17 - I posted Exam 2 with solutions. Also, there is a new set of notes about Taylor series that will help compliment tomorrow's worksheet.
  • 4/13 - Posted Mock Exam 3 and solutions. Note that I made a change to the answer to problem 1 since it was too complicated.
  • 4/16 - Check out the Notes section for information on what will be on Exam 3.
  • 4/20 - I posted Exam 3 with solutions.
  • 4/29 - There will be no office hours today.
  • 5/7 - I posted an example of showing the convergence of a Taylor series to the desired function in the Notes section. The final exam is May 12, from 1:30 to 4:30 in AH145.
  • 5/20 - Final grades are posted. I altered the grading scale (lowering score requirements), which you can see here. Grades were computed by rounding to nearest integer.
