The
Score

Reports link. Please check yor record regularly for completeness
and accuracy.
The Final Exam has been graded and the final course grades have been computed
and posted via Score Reports. The final exam counted as 30%, each of the
two midterms counted as 20%, h/wks counted as 25% and quizzes counted as
5%, for a total of 100%, scaled by a factor of 10 to 1000 points total.

on Monday Dec 22 and Tuesday Dec 23,
from 1pm untill 3pm in my office, Illini Hall 328. Note that these
times are different from my regular office hours' times.
My
office hours are Monday 10am-12noon and Tuesdays, 4:00pm-5:30pm.
You DO NOT need to tell me in advance if you want to see me during the
office hours. If you want to come at a different time, you need to schedule
an appointment. My office is located in Illini Hall, room 328. I will also
hold occasional additional office hours in the Engineering Linux Lab (usually
before an IODE project is due).
The FINAL EXAM for this course is scheduled for 8:00-11:00
AM, Thursday, December 18 in our usual classroom. If this time is not good
for you, you need to change your registration right now. Keep in
mind that I will not entertain any requests for "conflict" final exams
from people who do not have what the university officially recognizes as
a "conflict". See
the official university rules about exam conflicts here.

How
this course is graded and administered:
-
Homeworks will count 25% of the grade.
-
There will be 5 quizzes, 15 minutes each, during the semester.
They will count 5% of the grade.

There will be two midterm exams, each counting 20% of
the grade.

The final exam will count 30% of the grade.

Homeworks are collected each Wednesday. You can turn them
in either in class or by 4pm on Wednesday in the envelope on the door of
my office. Late h/work will not be accepted, unless you have made
prior arrangements with me before the due date. Exceptions can be made
in cases of well-documented emergencies and illnesses.

At the end of the semester two lowest h/work scores are
dropped.

I will give you make-up quizzes and midterms, but again
only in exceptional cases.

The final exam is cumulative and is scheduled for 8:00-11:00
