  • College of Business offers free tutoring, Monday-Thursday from 6:00pm to 9:00pm in BIF 1025.

  • There will be a free tutoring room for Math 234. Details will be announced later.

  • Check Notes before coming to lectures. I will lecture based on those notes.

  • (2/6) EXAM 1 will be on Feb. 15, 2012 in class. It will cover sections 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.5, 1.6, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, 2.5.

  • As I told you last Wednesday, Exam 2 will cover sections 2.6, 3.1~3.5, 4.1, 4.2.

  • (3/12) Fixed the conversion formula in the notes today. Also fixed the solution of the practice exam 2.

  • Exam 3 will cover sections 4.3, 4.4, chapter 5, 6.1, 7.1, 7.2.

  • (4/22) Exam 3 Practice Solution is posted.

  • (4/23) There are some mistakes in the solution of the practice exam 3. In #4 (a), you can not use the integration by substitution. Just use the equality that x^2+6x+10=(x+3)^2+1 (now fixed). In #8, once you integrate 4e^{2x}, you can get 2e^{2x}.
  • (4/23) In addition, in #5 (a), it is better to use ln(3x) directly, i.e., u=ln(3x) dv=xdx.
