To compute your approximate grade, add up your three midterm grades plus 1/3 of your homework total and compare to this scale:

A > 160 > A- 150 > B+ > 138 > B > 127 > B- > 116 > C+ > 104 > C > 92 > C- > 80 > D > 60 > F

Students generally score about as well on quizzes as they do on midterms, so this quick calculuation should give you a idea of your grade even though it does not include the quizzes. The final usually will not move your grades more than one notch up or two notches down.

The grading scale for Midterm 1 is as follows: A > 37 > A- > 34 > B+ > 31 > B > 28 > B- > 24 > C+ > 21 > C > 18 > C- > 15 > D > 10 > F
The grading scale for Midterm 2 is as follows: A > 44 > A- > 41 > B+ > 37 > B > 34 > B- > 30 > C+ > 26 > C > 22 > C- > 18 > D > 12 > F
The grading scale for Midterm 3 is as follows: A > 47 > A- > 44 > B+ > 40 > B > 37 > B- > 33 > C+ > 29 > C > 25 > C- > 21 > D > 15 > F

Final exam: Thursday, 1:30-4:30pm
If you are in Nathan's, Stephen's, or Colleen's section, go to 314 Altgeld.
If you are in Lisa's or Sepideh's section, go to 116 Roger Adams Lab.
No calculators; please bring your ID.

To study, I recommend redoing the problems from the quizzes and midterms, then doing some harder homework problems, then learning the statements of the major theorems and the proof of the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus. There will at least two problems from Chapter 6 on the final, probably from 6.2-3 and 6.4.
If you missed midterm 3 and have not talked to me recently, please do so as soon as possible.
