Exams

The Exams will include proofs of some important theorems, chosen from a list to be distributed later.

Text: Robert McOwen, Partial Differential Equations: Methods and Applications, second edition, Prentice Hall. On reserve at the Mathematics Library. We cover most of Chapters 1-5. Click for a detailed syllabus.

Grading. Your score for the class will be determined by:

No notes, books or electronic devices on the Test or Exam. If you miss a Test or Exam, contact me immediately to explain why.
Vacation and leisure plans are never a valid excuse for failing to complete required work on time.
