Dec 10: This is a great semester! Thanks for working hard in this class. Here is the answer for the final. Please email me if you want to check your scores.

Our final will be on Monday, December 10, 8:00-11:00am, in our classroom (which is Altgeld Hall 245). The material to be covered: Chapter 1 to 5, same as before; Chapter 6: section 1, 3, 4, 6, 7(properties I,II,III)

Oct 17: The answer for Midterm II.

Oct 13: The Midterm II will held on Oct 17, Wednesday. It will cover 3.3, 3.4, 3.5, 3.6, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3. There will be NO sample exam this time. Please go over the homeworks of these sections.

Sept 21: From now on, we will post the answers of the homework with *'s, contributed by Joseph Matuch and Jeffrey Mudrock. Please check the table below.

Sept 19: Here is the answer for Midterm I.

Sept 12: Here is the sample exam for Midterm I. I recommand you to sit down, place a clock in front of you, and start working on it to see how much time do you need. Then you can check your answer with the answer.

Sept 12: Due to the midterm next week (Sept. 19), I will collect on Friday (Sept. 21) the homeworks which were originally due to Sept. 19.
