Exams:
Exam Time
Midterm 1 in class, Feb 13, Wed
Midterm 2 in class, Mar 12, Wed
Midterm 3 in class, Apr 16, Wed
Final 8am-11am, May 7, Wed
Your final score is determined as follows:
25% Homework and Quizzes, 15% each Midterm Exams, 30% Final Exam.
No calculators allowed on exams.

Policy on missed Midterm Exams: If you miss an exam, you will receive a 0 for your grade on the exam. The only exception is if you have a valid excuse for missing, such as a serious illness or emergency - if so, you must inform me before the exam or, if this is physically impossible, then as soon as possible afterwards. In this case, the grade of the final exam will count as the grade for the missed exam.

Homework and Quizzes: Homework will be assigned every Thursday online. Homework will be collected each Tuesday. Short Quizzes will be given on each Thursday in Discussion Session, except those weeks with hour exams. The quiz with the lowest score will be dropped. We do not offer make-up quizzes!

Disabilities: Students with disabilities who require reasonable accommodations to participate in this class are asked to see me as soon as possible. In particular, any accommodations for exams must be arranged a week in advance and will require a letter from DRES.
