My Background

I am a native of Boise, Idaho where I graduated from Boise High School in 1997. From summer of 1997 to spring of 2002 I attended Beloit college, took every math class there, and left with a BS in Mathematics. From spring of 2002 to fall of 2004 I attended Indiana University and left with a Master of Science in Mathematics. From 2004 to 2008 I have attended the fine institution of UIUC as a math PhD student.

Office Hours

My office hours are set for 2- 3 TR. If you are in need of extra time and have been regularly attending the discussion section then I will make extra time. Also I will answer questions by email on mathematical topics. If you know LaTeX and can compile your question as a pdf you will get your answer more quickly; if not, I may need a day to meet with you face-to-face . I encourage you to come to office hours with questions.

My office is in B4a Coble Hall, and its phone is 217-244-1967.

Grades For Quizzes

If you are unhappy with the grade you were given on a quiz see me during office hours. If you cannot make office hours I will make extra time to talk about your grade. If you feel my grading was capricious under these criteria, and I will not change the grading, then see Professor Muncaster. Remember, in order to have a valid complaint the grading must be capricious not just harsh.

Students may find their grades here.
