Grading Scheme

Each hour test is worth 100 points - total of 500 points

Final exam is worth 300 points

The worst two quizzes will be dropped (no make-ups) and the remaining 6 will be worth 30 points each - total of 180 points

The five worst homework scores will be dropped (no late homeworks accepted) and the remaining 25 assignments are worth 10 points each - total of 250 points

Total points possible: 1230 points.

A = 90% - 100%, B = 80% - 90%, C = 65% - 80%, D = 55% - 65%, F = 0% - 55%

Checking on Grades

You make check on your grades and overall progress by going to the math department's home page http://www.math.uiuc.edu and clicking on the link called "Courses". On the new page click on "Score Reports". You will be asked to enter your network id to proceed (the same info you use for UIDirect).
