Math 231, Calculus II, Spring 2011 with Bob Murphy

Course grades have been determined in the following manner.

Q is the sum of the 10 best quiz scores (100 max).
T1 is the first test score (100 max).
T2 is the second test score (100 max).
T3 is the third test score (100 max).
F is the final exam score (150 max).

The total number of points is Q + T1 + T2 + T3 + F (550 max).

Additionally, if it helps your score, I have decided to let the overall percentage on the final exam replace the lowest test score.

You can check the raw score for each quiz, test and the final exam in the Departmental Gradebook. This does not show dropped quizzes or replaced test scores, but I did do this before determining your course grade.

Course grades were then determined using the following straight scale.

A+ [539, 550]
A [506, 539)
A- [495, 506)
B+ [484, 495)
B [451, 484)
B- [440, 451)
C+ [429, 440)
C [396, 429)
C- [385, 396)
D+ [374, 385)
D [341, 374)
D- [330, 341)
F [0, 330)
