Midterm 1 Letter Grade Ranges
- A range: 90 and above
- A- range: 85 and above
- B+ range: 81 and above
- B range: 76 and above
- B- range: 72 and above
- C+ range: 67 and above
- C range: 62 and above
- C- range: 57 and above
- D range: 41 and above
- F: 40 and below
MEDIAN: 76 points
Important remark on grades:
What is entered for your exam grade is your numerical score,
not a letter grade. So, it is better to have a 77
than a 76, even though both are in the B range. And, if you
are only 1 point away from the next letter-grade cut-off,
this is insignificant for your final grade. So, you might
more accurately think of an 81 as a "B+/B" rather than a solid B+,
and the same is true of an 80.
