| Course requirements and grading procedures |
|
There will be a homework assignment every week, due at the beginning of class on Friday. No late homework will be accepted. Each week's homework will be between 15 and 25 problems, and I will grade about 5 of them. There will
be three midterms and a final. The top 3 scores from the 3 midterms and the homework total will be worth 20% of the grade and the lowest one will be worth 10%. The final will be worth 30%.

| Attendance Policy |

You are expected to come to all lectures. Even though there is no component due to attendance in the grading scheme,
I reserve the right to downgrade you if you are habitually missing the
classes. |
