Research:
I work in metric geometry and Alexandrov spaces of curvature bounded either above or below; Riemannian geometry; Lorentz geometry. My current focus is on our book Alexandrov Geometry (see below); and on Alexandrov-meets-Lorentz.

Recent publications

Here is the latest draft of our book Alexandrov Geometry (with Vitali Kapovitch and Anton Petrunin). The table of contents shows all chapters we are currently working on, but the file includes only the following chapters:

  • The ghost of Euclid
  • Ultralimits
  • Definitions of curvature bounded below
  • Definitions of curvature bounded above
  • Kirszbraun revisited
  • Dimension
  • Gradient curves
  • Webs and barycenters
  • Distance maps
