Math 118 is a course for students whose major interests are not in engineering or the physical sciences. It emphasizes understanding of mathematical aspects of modern, real-world problems and includes concepts from combinatorics, exponential growth, probability, statistics, and problem-solving strategies.

Exam Dates

2nd Exam: Wednesday, October 22nd. It will cover chapter 6 sections 1,2,3,6 and chapter 7 sections 1-4.
3rd Exam: Monday, November 17th. It will cover chapter 8 sections 1-5 and chapter 12 sections 1-5.
Final Exam: Friday, December 19th from 7:00-10:00 PM.
