Computer Visualization Lab Homepage
This is the homepage for the computer visualization labratory component
of Math 302 - Non-Euclidean Geometry. The labs will take place in the
LinuXLab, which is located in 110 Altgeld Hall. As the semester progresses,
more information and material will be available for use.
- Lab 1: Introduction to SketchPad
and Isometries
- Lab 2: Ruler and Compass Constructions.
- Lab 3: Visualizing the Hyperbolic Plane.
Other Information
- Sums of Angles and Areas of Triangles. This
is a homework assignment for the math 302 courses here at the
University. It deals with the relationships between the sum of the
interior angles of a triangle and the area of the triangle in the
hyperbolic plane. Based on NonEuclid.
- Constructing Tangents to Circles. This
is a brief lab to demonstrate the Ruler-Compass construction of
the two tangent lines from a point outside a circle to the circle.
Based on Sketchpad.
- A list of other computer programs and repositories for computer
based learning can be found here.
