Before requesting a conflict exam, check the conflict exam policy on this website: http://admin.illinois.edu/policy/code/article3_part2_3-201.html

According to UIUC conflict exam policy (a)(6)(B), "A noncombined course examination has precedence over any combined-sections or conflict examination." Math 225 has a noncombined course final exam, so I will not offer conflict exam for those who has a combined-sections final or another conflict final which are scheduled at the same time as our final exam.

Thus, the only reason you need to take a conflict for math 225 is that you have 3 finals in a span of 24 hours (3 consecutive final slots) and math 225 happens to be the largest class of the three. That is in the code of conduct, as stated in (a)(5)(B) in the above website.

If that is the case, you will need to show me your course schedul and syllabus of the other courses to prove that a conflict of this course is required. Moreover, you have to contact with me before our lecture on Tuesday, December 7, 2010.
