This is (unbelievably) my sixth year here as a graduate student. My research interests lie in functional analysis, particularly operator algebras and operator spaces. Right now, I am looking at the properties of the von Neumann algebras generated by the q-gaussian operators. My advisor is Professor Zhong-Jin Ruan. Before coming here, I was at University College Cork, National University of Ireland, Cork.
