Announcements.
  • 07/31/08:   The Final Exam will be given on Saturday, August 2nd, at 1PM in Noyes 161.
  • 07/22/08:   Exam 4 will be given on Wednesday July 30th in class. It will cover the material in chapter 14 that we discuss by the end of class Tuesday.
  • 07/22/08:   Solutions to Exam 3 are posted. Please settle all grading disputes on or before Wednesday, July 30th.
  • 07/10/08:   Exam 3 will be given on Thursday, July 17th, at 7PM. It will cover all of chapter 13, except for section 13.4, and also section 14.1 and 14.2.
  • 07/07/08:   Solutions to the second exam are posted. Please settle all grading disputes on or before Wednesday, July 16th.
  • 07/01/08:   Solutions to the first exam are posted. Please settle all grading disputes on or before Tuesday, July 8th.
  • 06/27/08:   The third MathZone assignment is posted. It covers sections 12.3-12.8.
  • 06/27/08:   Exam 2 will cover all of chapter 12 and section 13.1 as well.
  • 06/26/08:   Exam 1 will be given tonight at 7PM in Altgeld 245.
  • 06/17/08:   Exam 1 will cover up to and including section 12.2. You will not be asked to sketch any surfaces by hand.
  • 06/17/08:   Exam 2 will be given in class on Thursday, July 3rd.
  • 06/12/08:   There will be no class on Tuesday, June 17th, or Friday, June 20th.
  • 06/11/08:  Exam 1 will be given on the evening of Thursday, June 26.
  • 06/10/08:  Online homework is now set up at MathZone.com. To access it you will have to create an account if you do not already have one. This registration guide may be helpful. You will need a MathZone registration code which should be included with your textbook and also our (case sensitive) section ID which is 8EF-9C-8DE .
  • 06/09/08:  Practice problem assignments will be posted in the Homework Assignment Calendar. Follow the link above.
  • 06/09/08:  The course has been reorganized.  There will be no quizzes.  There will be one online homework assignment per week, due each Wednesday.  Practice problems are to be handed in as written homework assignments.  They will be collected during the second class period after they are assigned.  Lastly, there will be 4 exams during the semester.
  • 06/09/08: Significant changes are being made to the course organization. A more detailed announcement will follow.
