The deadline for the fourth IODE project (part 2 of homework 11) has been extended to Tuesday, November 19. It is due IN CLASS on that day!
The second midterm exam was returned on Tuesday, November 5. The average score was 47.2/65. The scale for the exam was:

The fourth quiz will be on Thursday, November 7, covering sections 3.8 and 9.1.
The date for the second midterm exam has been changed to Tuesday, October 29. It will cover sections 2.1, 2.2 and 3.1 - 3.6.
The third quiz will be on Tuesday, October 15, covering sections 3.1, 3.2 and 3.3 (not sections 3.3 and 3.4, as was previously stated here).
The first midterm exam was returned on Tuesday, October 8. The average score was 48.4/65. The scale for the exam was:

The date for the first midterm exam has been changed to Tuesday, October 1. It will cover all of Chapter 1 as well as sections 2.4, 2.5 and 2.6.
The second quiz will be on Thursday, September 19, covering sections 1.3, 1.4 and 1.5.
Tuesday, September 17: Class will meet in the Engineering Linux Lab (406B1 Engineering).
The first quiz will be on Tuesday, September 10, covering sections 1.1 and 1.2.
