Research

I'm a graduate student at the University of Illinois and have the pleasure of working with Dr. Robert Ghrist.

My interests include geometry (the metric kind), topology (the algebraic kind) and geometric group theory and my recent research centers around applications of these topics to robotics.

Here's a short advertisement for my research.   Below is the 'official' stuff.
Publications
  • "The Geometry and Topology of Reconfiguration" (with R. Ghrist), 2006.  Advances in Applied Mathematics, 38(3), pp. 302-323.  pdf
