Grading	In order to obtain credit for the course, a student has to take the final exam. The final grade is calculated as follows: Final exam : 50 percent Midterms: 40 percent (20% for each) Homework: 10 percent
Exams	The first exam will be on Friday, Oct 3 in class. The exam I will cover Sections 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6, 1.9, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, 2.5, 2.6. Here is the answer for Exam I . The second exam will be on Friday, Nov. 7 in class. The exam II will cover Sections 3.1, 3.2, 3.4, 3.5, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.5, 5.6. Here is the answer for Exam II .
